Our Process
Accurate specializes in custom injection molding. Customers typically approach us when they need a product manufactured in quantities from few hundred to a hundred thousand or more .
When part drawings and requirements are available we will provide a quote for tooling and injection molding production of the final product. If the part design is not completely defined we can help . We work with outside designers but we also have in house design capabilities. We can create 3D models of your products and generate the 2D manufacturing drawings with specifications. Our designers can help with material selection and part optimization for injection molding.
Once the part design has been approved, the customer will generally decide if he wants to proceed with prototypes (rapid prototypes or a prototype mold) or if he is ready to order a production tool.
If you already have a mold and are looking for an injection molder to produce your parts we will be happy to work with you. After an initial evaluation of the tool condition and requirements ,we will provide a quote for production parts.
Molds are manufactured in our shop in the USA or by our partners overseas. In either case, the mold design is managed by our engineers and the mold manufacturing is followed step by step by our factory personnel. No steel is cut without our engineer’s approval.
Molds are tested on injection molding machines of the same size that will be used for final production and sample parts are sent to our customers for final approval.
Upon customer request PPAP reports or First Article Inspection reports are prepared.
Once the tool is approved it is ready for production. We provide climate controlled storage and basic maintenance for all of our customers tools.
If further secondary operations, like drilling, labeling, pad printing or similar are needed we can help with those too. Our engineers have extensive experience with design and fabrication of fixtures for secondary operations that will make the part production efficient.
Packaging is designed as per customer requirements.
